
A prostitution group used social media to promote prostitution services. After finding the client, the “courier” transported the girl to the location designated by the client. 1 Malaysian man and 10 Thai women were arrested.
The police went to an apartment on Bukit Bintang Road in Kuala Lumpur and arrested a Thai woman and a local Chinese man who was acting as a courier.
The police subsequently arrested 9 more Thai women who were between 23 and 39 years old.

Investigation revealed that the woman promoted prostitution services through social media such as Instagram, WhatsApp or Telegram.
“After the group finds clients through social media advertisements, the courier will transport the woman to the location designated by the client. A service charge of 200 ringgit, and the courier will receive 50 ringgit as the delivery fee.” said in the media release
The police also seized a total of 32 condoms and 13 mobile phones.
