M’SIAN LORRY CAUGHT TRYING TO SMUGGLE 2730 CARTONS OF CIGGS INTO S’PORE

On 29 January, a Malaysia-registered lorry was caught by ICA officers trying to smuffle 2,730 cartons of cigarettes into Singapore.

The cigarettes were hidden within a consignment of paper rolls, biscuits and sundry goods.

A 34-year-old male Singaporean was also arrested on the same day and at the time of writing, investigations are still ongoing.
