According to a media release, a 20-year-old Malaysian woman was arrested for pretending to be a police officer. It was said that her action was to impress her boyfriend and his family who were from the military.
It was reported that the couple met online and the woman has travelled to Kelantan to meet his boyfriend from Sabah. She then stayed with his boyfriend and family a 1 week after a 14 days quarantine.
During her stay, she introduced herself as Inspector Humairah. In order to gain the trust of her boyfriend’s parents, she decided to hanged her police uniform in his boyfriend’s car. However, she was later reported to the police after her boyfriend’s parents suspected her to be a fake due to the long vacation that she took.
Police investigations later revealed that this was not the first time she had committed such offence.
