Ng Weng Cheong, 38-years-old, was sentenced to 9 months and 1 week jail on 18 March for stealing clothes and underwear from his neighbours.
He would then wear the undergarments while engaging in sexual acts.
Ng pleaded guilty to three charges of theft, mischief and housebreaking; another two charges were taken into consideration during sentencing.
He was also ordered to pay $95 to compensate for a camera that he damaged at one of the victim’s flats.
Ng’s crime spree started in APril 2020, he visited the same flat thrice at night to steal women’s clothing as he like one of the women he saw staying there.
He stretched his hand through the main gaste to steal bras, panties and pants hanging on a pole that was suspended between the gate and window grille.
