[Educating Our Youths About Drug Abuse]
Surveys conducted in 2018 and 2019 have found that youths are increasingly becoming more accepting of the use of drugs and cannabis.
In CNB Drug Free SG ‘s 2022 drug situation report, 60% of new drug abusers arrested in 2021 were under 30 years old. These are worrying trends.
Young drug abusers may not be aware of the harms that drugs can bring to themselves and their families.
Hence, it is important that we be open to their concerns and teach our youths about the consequences of drug abuse.
