My boyfriend cheated on his ex in their previous relationship, but over the years he have changed, and became more mature. My friends always tell me that “a cheater will always be a cheater” and I always get pissed off with them because I chose to trust him.
But recently, he came really close to this girl (meet her for meals, sign up for marathons tgt, send her home) and he is still in contact with his ex. I don’t know how to feel about this? He is always very possessive (eg don’t let me meet my guy friends, wanna check my phone, etc). Any suggestions on how we can try to salvage this relationship? We have been together for 2 years.
