About a year ago, my friend got her period and told me about it, asking if I had yet gotten mine. I hadn’t and I told her so. She “reassured” me that I would get it soon.
From then on, she would repeatedly ask me if I had gotten mine yet, and every time I did not answer, telling her to stop asking. She never stopped. Whenever we hang out alone together, she gets a look on her face like she’s about to drop some juicy gossip and then asks me if I had gotten “it” yet. I want Will Smith the stupid smirk off her face every time.
I’m more frustrated every time she asks. If someone tells you to stop doing something, DON’T DO IT MORE! It angers me that she can’t simply follow my one wish. It makes sense one wouldn’t want to talk about something typically considered private. Now, I have gotten my period, and I’m not embarrassed about it; I just don’t want to deal with my friend’s reaction.
Why is she so obsessed with it? She had said she was, “worried about” me. I’m fine. Why does she feel the need to try to pry so much? It creeps me out. Does she want to make me uncomfortable by repeatedly asking personal questions?
I’m a bit late but I think it will surely come.
Here are what netizens think:
- Some people are super k-po one must tell them everything.
- Sounds like your friend is very proud of being an “adult” but yet her behaviours says otherwise.
