Unfortunately, my own wife,Got married through arranged marriage setting 2 years back. She’s unendurable.
Her life revolves around showing off, both in real life and (especially) on social media. She wants unreasonably expensive stuff every other day. She does a basic job in marketing field in a private company. The little she makes is blown away before half the month is over. Then, she starts extorting endless amount of money from me. She must have all latest branded clothes and shoes. She needs to dine in the most expensive restaurants. She judges all people on the basis of their economic status. She’s nice to the richer ones and a cunt to the underprivileged. All her conversations with people involve talking about materialistic things and flashing/bragging.

When we go out, all she does is click those annoying pouty selfies. Then, she edits those pictures endlessly and uploads them over all the social media and sends to her bitchy superficial friend’s WhatsApp groups to make them jealous, and then obsessively checks for likes and comments.
She makes all tha shona Babu best husband posts on social media to show how perfect our marriage is when in actuality.. well, you can probably already tell how perfect it is. And it is so embarrassing when she tags me.
She also seriously overrates her appearance and thinks she’s some supermodel when she’s just a little above average. She gets jealous of every other person.
She even undermines ME. Like I told you, she works a shit deadend job. I’m doing pretty okay in my life, I make 15 LPA and constantly growing in my field. But that’s low for her and she says she wishes I made more. She asks me when will it ever be possible for us to buy a high end Mercedes and when will we have ‘enough money’ for her to buy all the Channel bags and Louboutin shoes she likes. She compares me with her friends’ husband’s and says so and so’s husband took her to Switzerland, you can’t do nothing.
She’s a total airhead when it comes to any issues in the world that are actually relevant.
She’s a nightmare.
Edit : NO she’s not too young. She’s 27 and I’m 29. This kind of behaviour isn’t justifiable even for a 20 year old.
Why haven’t I ended it? On every other answer where someone talks of being unhappy with their marriage, people are quick to say ‘end it’. THINGS AtRENT THAT SIMPLE, PEOPLE.
We live in a country where people even stay in physically abusive marriages and with cheating partners all their lives. You really think what I’ve stated above would constitute a ‘valid’ ground for divorce ? Get out of your fking bubble! Welcome to the harsh reality.
