
Singapore -based vlogger Nuseir Yassin, who is the owner of Nas Daily, posted a video titled “Can Covid-19 cancel Ramadan?”.
The motive of the video was to see how muslims and the mosque were adapting in the midst of the pandemic which coincided with Ramadan and the video was filmed at the Sultan Mosque at Kampong Glam.
There was some debate online where many stated that what he was doing was considered flouting the safe distancing and circuit breaker measures.
Ministry of Trade and Industry verified that Nas Daily had received a TIme-Limited Expemption to conduct the filing.
At various parts of the video, Nuseir Yassin could be seen speaking without a mask. One Facebook user even commented on this and he replied that it was due to his big nose which made the mask slip off constantly. But taking a closer look at the video, he was seen pulling the mask down.
