A couple of neighbours have been arguing with each other for the past 5 years, accusing each other of installing CCTVs to “watch” each other.
Both are residents of Block 346 Yishun Avenue 11 and have been staying there for the last 10 years, although the dispute had lasted for 5 years.
Neighbour Alpha, who is a retiree, said that her neighbour installed a “pinhole ” camera in the corridor which her son had allegedly seen them installing, directed at their home door.
So Neighbour Alpha put up a piece of red cloth to block the CCTV’s line of vision.
Neighbour Bravo however denied putting up a camera, saying that it was a misunderstanding and that their son was only clearing some old wires in the corridor.
Neighbour Bravo then further claimed that it was Neighbour Alpha who installed a CCTV to monitor them first.
Both parties have gone to the police numerous times and have stated their intention to sue each other.
