NEIGHBOURS ALLEGEDLY RUNNING ILLEGAL KTV, WITH HOSTESSES

A resident shared a video of an alleged illegal KTV being run by his/her neighbours next door.

The neighbours were seen carting in lots of alcohol at around 2.30am into the unit.

Multiple men were seen carrying cartons of beers each, with the men bringing the beers into the unit.

Women were then seen outside the unit at around 5.30am, with a girl seen leaving the unit with another man.

Numerous girls were seen entering and leaving the unit between the timings of 1.30am and even after 7am.

A drunk man was also seen in the CCTV video stumbling out of the unit.

In another clip, the owner of the alleged KTV was seen pointing a middle finger at the KTV.

Potential penalties

Persons who are found supplying alcohol without a valid license face a fine of up to $20,000, with repeat offenders facing also facing an additional jail term of up to three months.

First-time offenders who breach safe distancing measures are fined $300.

For non-compliance with safe management measures under the COVID-19 offenders may be jailed for up to six months, fined up to S$10,000, or both.
