The streaming service, Netflix, is currently testing a new feature, where users are being asked to verify if they stay in the same household as the main account holder.

A spokesperson from Netflix said that the test was “designed to ensure that people using the accounts are authorised to do so.”
A prompt appeared on the screens of a small number of Netflix users that says that if you don’t live with the owner of this account, you need your own account to keep watching.
There is also an option to delay verification.
However, it is worth noting that Netflix has yet to enforce this as of now.
