NETIZEN CLAIMS SHE DEVELOP RED RASHES LIKE ITCH AFTER TAKING BUDGET AIRLINES!

Posting via your FB page wasn’t my first choice but apparently guess that’s my ONLY choice left since I couldn’t find any email online and after submitting your online feedback form, it informs me to login without routing me to anywhere I could. Tried twice, gave up. I could provide you screenshots via email if you’re interested to solve the issue. Back to my issue, I was basically bitten by something (probably an insect) on the flight back from Taipei – TR893. I noticed itchiness on my arm when the flight was about to land and noticed a lump sized about 2 $1 coins. Never thought much about it until yesterday as it has now covered a big area of my left back arm! It’s a big, red hard lump, itchy and has a hot sensation. Till today, it’s not going away and feels even hotter than yesterday.

A friend informed that Scoot had a similar ‘bug related’ incident back in Aug 2017 and this might be a similar case as there was no ‘lump’ on my arm before I took the flight. It’s also too much of a coincidence as the previous complainant who got “bitten by bed bugs” was also flying back from TPE to SG. I would like to know if the cleanlines of a plane is checked by any aviation authorities (such as NEA for cleanliness) or only confirmed by the airline themselves as this seems like a repeated incident. It’s extremely concerning and a big issue especially when you have kids/ elderly people on board who might have a worse reaction to such bites.
