Hi, I was recently cheated by the durian seller at AMK Hub durian festival and would like to highlight to everyone to prevent getting cheated. AMK is currently running a promotion. For the spending made in the hub itself, every 10 dollars is entitle to exchange a voucher to purchase every KG of durian with a 2 dollars discount, each customer is allowed to redeem up to 5 vouchers.
However, when we approach the durian seller, they will claim that I’m only allowed to use each voucher for each FRUIT I want to purchase however they will accept all the vouchers with a minimum purchase of 3 fruits. Before I could do anything they will open up the fruit and show me how good their durian are. When I told them I don’t want it as it was not according to the voucher terms the employees in the stall will speak loudly to make me embarrass, saying that I ask them to open and don’t wanna buy.
And was forced to purchase 3 durian each weights more than 3 KG. When I lodge my report to the management, they claim that a handful of feedback was received with regards on the scam and the management will look into. Such cheating methods are not acceptable in our fine and beautiful lawful nation. I hope everyone beware of it. The name of the stall is called D Fruit.
