A netizen wrote in to TODAY asking for the ban of smoking while walking, in light of the community outbreak of Covid-19.

The netizen asked why must smokers be accorded special privileges to do so, before addressing those who hold food/drinks with their masks down – she says that some of them could simply be pretending to eat or drink so that they can pull down their masks.
She also shared that smokers who light up on the move not only pollute the air with cigarette smoke but put others nearby at risk.
