NETIZEN WONDERS BY GOING CASHLESS ARE WE NEGLECTING THE LOWER INCOME FAMLIES??

As a commoner of Singapore, it would be appropriate if government give us options to choose to pay cash or by card. Kids in school should learn to save money/count money / learn moral values and also to teach them about religion etc..

how about kids who are with lower income family? If a parent could only give a child $3 daily to school and the other parent could give their child $10 daily whom the child can afford to buy more things in school, have the govt thought how would the lower income child feel? Why didn’t they think of how to improve MRT which has been all time faulty?

Why should we do such unnecessary improvement whereby our main issues is not settled? For the past 5 years, What kind of reasonable improvement is not done? Based on what we have now, is actually insufficient.. don’t just because of 1 person who gives such suggestion and the whole country have to follow?

Singapore is not a copycat. So which means, Japan has bullet trains and Singapore should also follow? But why After so many years, the transportation is still not improved? Govt should let commoners have the entitlement to vote for what is necessary.

Govt should actually think of how to support cancer patients who are really in need of help or Govt is able to support half of the treatment payment. Afterall, cancer patients also contributed taxes to Singapore or provide more assistance to those needy be it someone who needs a place to stay or very poor income family.

As a Singaporean, we are happy to be one.
However, all these changes are drowning us mentally and physically.

– a cashless payment which is not necessary
– Trains always faulty but still no improvement
– ERP cost is increasing as always but Govt never think of how cars are much more convenient to family who needs to travel with small kids
– Setting up the car gantry is wasting resources. Singapore can never participate in “save the earth” because we utilize all the energy that we can.

At the end of the day, there’s only feedback that we can give but no actions done.
