Hi SMRT,
I’m was onboard Service 855 that’s headed for Yishun. The bus driver has been driving very dangerously since the start of my journey at Bus stop 10101(Spring Singapore) till the end at S’pore Bible college. He swerves the bus suddenly and drives in the middle of 2 lanes at any point of time.
He also does hard breaking, suddenly accelerations and stops very far from the bus stop, having commuters to walk a distance, causing inconvenience for some. He also almost caused 2 accidents within 2 bus stops.
First: Near accident with an SBST Bus at the bus stop of Opposite Queensway secondary school. The bus was already filtering so that it can exit the bus stop. This 855 bus captain didn’t give way, but instead horned and zoomed past the SBST bus, almost colliding.
Second, he closed his eyes while exiting the bus stop of Blk 97, the stop after opposite queensway secondary school, almost causing an accident with a Mercedes sports car.
In addition, the bus captain was gritting his teeth while driving during my journey, and also showed signs of discomfort while driving.
Can you please look into it because his way of driving is very dangerous for everyone. Thank you
