A picture of a Wechat message was posted on the Hardwarezone forum EDMW by user NSforSG which actually states that Singaporeans are lowly educated and only complain. They further stated that the immigrants in Singapore is only increasing and when it reaches 50% the ball will be in their court. The Wechat message was allegedly written by a new citizen.
Here is the whole translated version which was taken from the Hardwarezone forum.
“It is very telling of the Opposition’s capabilities, what else can they do other than discriminating against us the new citizens? There’s nothing to shout about for the locals, of which the majority are lowly educated, low capability and could only complain. Now that everyone knows how highly qualified, high quality and willingness to work hard (we are), this is also the reason why the Government is willing to attract talents.
It is no use even if the locals discriminate against us, the government would not and would even stand up for us. Why would we vote for the opposition rather than PAP? Brain dead? There are 30+% new immigrants in Singapore. In future, this figure will increase and one day, when we reach 50-60% and above, the ball is in our court. And let’s see how they can discriminate then.”
