Simon Tan, the Director or Student and Alumni Services of Ngee Ann Polytechnic, has released a statement via what appears to be an email.
In the email, he said that they are aware of the viral video of their students urinating on each other and are currently investigating the matter.
The students have been identified and NP has clarified that none of them are freshmen, ascertaining that the incidents did not take place during the freshmen orientation programme.
An internal inquiry has been set up and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against students who breached the school’s code of conduct.
Tan also said that Safe Management Measures were not followed as well and will b e taken into consideration during the meting of disciplinary action.
Police also involved
The Singapore police said that they were informed to the alleged incident at 535 Clementi Road on 22 March at about 9.50pm (the address of NP).
They added that investigations into the incident are ongoing.
