
The infamous “no badge no talk” auntie, since revealed to be 53-year-old Phoon Chiu Yoke, is facing a criminal charge for a similar offence that she committed last year.
She allegedly failed to wear a mask over her nose and mouth at all times at Newton Hawker Centre, from 7.20pm to 8pm on 8 May 2020.
She was charged under the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) Act.
The trial will commence take Monday (24 May), and she is intending to contest the charge.

Phoon was seen refusing to put on a mask and challenging a Safe Distancing Ambassador to show her “badge”.
She was then seen trying to enter Central Mall without a mask and being refused entry.
Phoon was also seen shopping for groceries without wearing a mask.
The police were also seen confronting her at a carpark for not wearing her mask, and she was later revealed to be under investigation by the police.
Her antics have also spawned a series of memes, including a DeepFake video of her singing “Who Let The Dogs Out”, as well as her becoming emojis and stickers on Whatsapp.
Her father also revealed that she used to be kind and charitable.
