LTA said in an announcement that the limits of the number of passengers allowed in Taxis and PHVs will be liften from 10 August onwards.

Carpooling services will also be allowed to resume on that day forth, including GrabHitch and RydePool.
However carpooling through Telegram groups continue to be illegal.
Carpooling with other passengers such are families, friends and/or colleagues that are not paid, are also allowed.
