A netizen shared how nobody has ever asked her out her entire life, every time anyone goes out to have fun, nobody seems to remember her or asks her to join.
Here is the story:
Since I gained consciousness from being a child, I realized no one ever asked me out. What I mean by this is that no one asked me to be with them having fun or things that they want me to be involved on.
It s always me trying to ask them out, give them a lot of effort, but everyone never did that. The only times I was asked out was when they needed a replacement or simply missing someone in their team for example.
But it never felt like i truly belonged to any groups or friendship, it either feels one-sided or second-handed.
Even with my best friend, it doesn’t feel like a real friendship. It’s always me trying to contact someone, but not the same way around.
Even if there was, it is usually help that they need, which is kind of sad because maybe that’s how they only see me, someone whoM they can feed off of.
This makes me question every day what did I do wrong, and trying to constantly appeal to them.

Constantly trying to appeal to them might be what you’re doing ‘wrong’, some people have a hard time trusting people who are always friendly. Might be worth a try caring less?
