
According to Singapore Food Agency (SFA), 101 people were reported to have gastroenteritis symptoms after dining at Eng’s Heritage which is located at Northpoint City (930 Yishun Ave 2, Northpoint City, #B1-51).
In a span of 3 days, 12 diners were hospitalised and have since been discharged.

The Ministry of Health(MOH) and Singapore Food Agency (SFA) conducted an inspection of the restaurant on 11 January 2021. Several hygiene issues were found and SFA took actions against Eng’s Heritage for the lapses and the restaurant was suspended by SFA from 13 January to 26 February 2021.Â
Food Hygiene Grade drop from “A” to “C”
Since June 25 the restaurant food grade will be adjusted to C and the restaurant will be reviewed by the relevant authorities in the next 12 months. The restaurant will also under be kept under surveillance.
