A 21 year old full-time National Serviceman was given a community based sentence on Thursday for uploading explicit videos and photographs of his ex-girlfriend onto a p*rnographic website.
He will serve a 14 days short detention order which puts him in prison but does not leave a criminal record upon completion of his detention.
He will also have a undergo counselling and serve 100 hours of community service.
He created a profile on a free p*rnographic website and an internet forum in October 2018 using the girl’s photograph, and uploaded the videos and photographs online.
Over the course of three months, the man had amassed a following of over 200 subscribers on the p*rnographic website.
Anyone found guilty of distributing obscene material could be jailed for up to three months or fined, or both.
