A social media post has surfaced detailing the concerning struggle of a National Serviceman (NS) in Singapore, who is allegedly grappling with an addiction to prostitution. The anonymous post, shared on an online platform, outlines the serviceman’s habits of spending a significant portion of his monthly allowance on engaging the services of prostitutes from Thailand, Vietnam, and China.
The NS buddy’s reported addiction has led to drastic measures to fund his habit, including skipping meals with friends to save money and walking 15 kilometers home instead of taking public transport to conserve funds.
According to the post, the serviceman avoids joining his peers for dinner after their book out, choosing instead to request second helpings at the cookhouse to ensure he’s full and won’t feel hungry later. Additionally, he opts for a lengthy walk home after each book out to save on transportation costs.

This may sound really stupid but I think my NS buddy is addicted to prostitution and I have no way of helping him overcome it. He so so addicted or poisoned to paying for “love” that he spends almost all his money on thai, vietnamese or prc prostitutes every week we book out.

This is not the most crazy thing he does to save every bit of. Instead of taking bus, mrt or taxi home, he will walk 15 km home after every book out. He do all this so that he can save that 5 dollars on transport.
When he finally told me he saves all these money so that he can find prostitutes during book out, I was shocked. So now with his $800 monthly allowance, he will call at least 4 prostitutes over the weekend and “enjoy” himself.
