NTU STUDENT ALLEGEDLY USE PHONE TO SEE UNDER GIRLS’ CLOTHES, TAKE UPSKIRT PHOTOS

Nicholas Tan Siew Chye, a 25-year-old student from NTU, allegedly trespassed into the campus lobby area and used his phone camera to look into a girl’s clothes.

He is also being accused of taking upskirt photos of a woman in a lift at a block of HDB flats at Canberra Road.

He was charged with 2 counts of voyeurism and 1 count of criminal trespass.

What happened?

Tan allegedly trespassed into the campus lobby on 19 October last year at around 6.17pm, with the intention of annoying a woman there.

He allegedly used his phone’s camera to look under her dress or skirt.

In a separate incident, Tan also allegedly took upskirt pictures of a woman at a block of flats in Canberra Road on 25 February at around 4.40pm.

His case has been adjourned to 16 August.
