
The Singapore Police Force told Mothership that they are currently investigating a case of voyeurism (the practice of gaining sexual pleasure from watching others when they are naked or engaged in sexual activity) in Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
The police were alerted to the incident on August 26, at round 4pm.
A spokesperson from NTU said that the school is providing all care and assistance to the students concerned, they said: “The university takes a very serious view of any criminal conduct. Any student who is found guilty will be subject to disciplinary action, which may include suspension or expulsion from the university.”
The incident purportedly involved two male students who are residing in Hall 14.
What happened was; one of them was showering and the other party allegedly opened the door and pointed his phone camera at the victim.
Police investigations are ongoing.
