Hi NTUC,
I would like to give my feedback on your staff’s service. The name of the staff is Ms I I Liling and she works at the branch at 500 Lorong 6 Toa Payoh.
On 7 January 2019 at 10:38 p.m., I was at self check-out counter. I was just asking your staff why there is no priority queue for elderly of the pioneer generation and why there was no announcement about this from NTUC. I did not scold your staff or use any abusive language, but yet she shouted loudly at me for being angry over such matter which led to other customers looking at me.
Subsequently, she came over to me and whispered in my ear that today is her last day at NTUC and thus she dares to scold me (these words were exactly what she said to me). When I requested to see her supervisor, she challenged me to make a complaint by flashing her name tag. She also challenged me to call the police and said she had other customers as witnesses.
Overall, she was behaving in a very provocative manner, constantly deliberately antagonizing me. I feel that I don’t deserve such behaviour from your staff,
when I have in no way behaved in an abusive manner towards her (as evident from CCTV recording).
I hope the management can seriously look into this matter. Please train your staff that even if they have tendered their resignation, they should still treat customers with respect.
Regards,
Mdm Tan
