In a press release by the Elections Department of Singapore, it is stated that Nomination Day is 30th June. While 10 July is declared to be Polling Day.

Under the law, Polling Day at any General Election shall be considered a public holiday.
Every employer shall on Polling Day allow every elector in his employ a reasonable period of time for voting.
