Irsyad Sameer Abdul Rahim, 29, admitted to using a parang to attack a rival before driving into a police officer who tried to apprehend him. His actions cause the police officer to be thrown in the air.
Irsyad was also involved in a car chase which caused rival gang member Johari Sharif and one of his passengers to die after crashing into a gate at the Istana.
Irsyad pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs, driving in a rash manner, failing to stop his vehicle despite being instructed by a traffic police officer, consuming drugs, and being part of a secret society gang, which was involved in a dispute with another gang.
For slashing another with a parang, he pleaded guilty to causing hurt with a dangerous weapon. He was part of the secret society “Omega”.
