OVER $100,000 WORTH OF DRUGS SEIZED BY CNB OFFICERS AT TAMPINES

Two Singaporean alleged drug offenders, a 65-year-old male and a 55-year-old female, were detained in the latest drug raid by Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) agents on July 5, 2021.

There were about 974 grams of heroin, 3 grams of cannabis, and 60 grams of suspected New Psychoactive Substances (NPS) confiscated.

During the operation, $57,929 in cash and 330 nitrazepam pills were also discovered.

The value of the narcotics collected is believed to be more than $102,000.

CNB police detained a 65-year-old Singaporean male and a 55-year-old Singaporean female at Tampines Street 83 on the afternoon of July 5th.

The 65-year-old man was searched, and 938 grams of heroin and $7,000 in cash were discovered. The 65-year-old man was taken to his home in the same neighbourhood, where he was searched.

A total of 36 grams of heroin, 2 grams of cannabis, 60 grams of suspected New Psychoactive Substances (NPS), and $50,929 in cash was found.
