PEANUT POWDER RECALLED BY SFA, FOUND WITH HIGH LEVEL OF AFLATOXINS

The Sunflower Brand Peanut Powder has been recalled locally after high levels of aflatoxins were found in it.

The SFA instructed manufacturer Yiak Say Hang Food Industries to recalled the products.

The peanut powder was made from a batch of peanut powder sourced from Li Kwong Agencies, which is being investigated by SFA after a recall of their products earlier this week.

People who have bought the Sunflower Brand Peanut Powder are advised not to consume the product and if you have consumed it and have concerns about your health, you should seek medical advice.
