PERSONAL TRAINER WHO ALLEGEDLY GROPED CLIENT, SAYS SHE CONSENTED

Hot on the heels of a viral video depicting a personal trainer getting a little too “handsy” with his client that resulted in him getting banned by the gym, the personal trainer, who goes by the name David Mesut, who’s being accused of touching his client inappropriately spoke to AsiaOne yesterday (August 5) and told them that he would be filing a police report against the “false accusations”.

David was seen in the viral footage touching his female client’s buttocks several times during a gym session as Apeiro Performance, and Cheryl Loh, another personal trainer posted the video calling his out for sexual misconduct, calling his behaviour not normal.

David alleged that his client has consented to the physical contact.

He denied allegations of sexual misconduct and said that he would be making a police report on the “false accusations”.

He is in the midst of obtaining legal advice at the moment.

David explained that: “The video was shown to me by the client and we both discussed the exercise that she was doing. She did not place any objection to any aspects of the video or the fact that there was physical contact.”

He added: “Right from the beginning, I had told her about physical contact on a particular part of her body and she said that she understood and therefore, consented.”
