A former lecturer was sentenced to 8 weeks of jail after he was convicted of insulting the modesty of his female student. The man was caught taking an upskirt video of one of his female student last year on the 06 of March 2019.
On the day of the incident, the man approached the victim to help him with some photo taking for a class activity. He then told her to pose for a photo while she was blindfolded with her feet apart.
After the victim was blindfolded, the man approached her slowly before placing his phone between her legs to record a video. Feeling uneasy, the victim removed the blindfold and found the man squatting behind her with his phone placed between the legs.
The victim then confronted the man and requested to see what was on his phone. The man managed to delete the video that he took before passing the victim his phone. The victim then told her parents about the incident.
The victim then proceeds to file a police report on the same day. While being questioned by the police, the man admitted to the act and he also admitted of taking upskirt video of other students as well.
