I’m a PhD holder who recently decided to become a Grab driver. It might seem surprising to some people, but for me, it was the best decision I could make.

After completing my PhD and working in the corporate world for 4 years, I realized that I was no longer able to take the stress and pressure of a corporate job.

I needed to find an alternative that would provide me with a more relaxed environment and better work-life balance.

So, I decided to become a Grab driver, which allowed me to work flexible hours and earn money on my own terms.

Being a Grab driver was a great decision for me since I had a lot of free time and I could use it to pursue my hobbies and interests.

I chose being a Grab driver because I wanted to be able to enjoy my free time while still having a source of income.

I also saw it as an opportunity to meet new people. I was able to chat with my customers, learn about their stories, and even share some of my own experiences.

The best part of being a Grab driver was the flexibility it offered. I could work whenever I wanted and set my own hours.

I could easily take breaks whenever I needed to and I also had the freedom to choose the trips I wanted to drive.

The other great thing about being a Grab driver was that I could use my car for Gojek or Tada if I wanted.

This meant that I had the potential to make more money if I chose to work for different companies.

But, it wasn’t all roses. Working as a Grab driver had its downsides as well. It could be stressful at times, especially when I had to deal with difficult customers.

Overall, I’m glad that I decided to become a Grab driver. It was the perfect job for me, as it allowed me to make money while still having enough free time to pursue my hobbies and interests.

I was also able to meet new people and learn new stories, which was a great bonus.
