With the crazy amount of scams in public, many are wary and the variations of scams are never-ending.
Today they can pretend to be Police tomorrow they can pretend to be your cousin. Sometimes they not only pretend as banks but also other companies.
TransitLink recently posted on Facebook that there is an ongoing email circulating around which pretends to be TransitLink and tell people that they have won a prize.
Here is what they said on Faceook:
It has come to our attention that an email impersonating TransitLink has been circulating. This email claims to be giving out rewards for a SimplyGo survey and contains an embedded phishing link.
Please be informed that the email is not sent or endorsed by TransitLink, and please do not click on the link.
