True story ah, I swear to god. I private hire driver (PHV) for 3 years already. Drive until back pain, neck pain, everyday see the same road, see Singaporean complain about $2 peak hour surcharge like I robbing them. Standard fare very hard to eat. But got one lobang I discover last year, now every Friday and Saturday night, I confirm will go there and wait.

Got this one specific uncle, I call him Lao Wang. He say, “Xiao huo zi (young man), keep the change, go buy cigarette.” That night, the tip alone was $120. I like want to cry, seriously. My Grab app fare became small money.
Now, every weekend I will purposely drop off near MBS around 2am to 4am and see if I can match him or his friends. These rich PRC casino players, when they drunk, they don’t care about money one. To them, $100 is like $1 to us. Last week he win big, he gave me $200 tip just for driving him 15 minutes! He even vomit a bit on my floor mat, but he immediately throw another $100 bill at me and say sorry. I clean with tissue also happy.
