In PM Lee’s most recent press conference, he has formally acknowledge Pritam Singh as the official Leader of the opposition.

The title of the Leader of the Opposition would refer to the individual who leads the largest opposition political party, and now Pritam Singh would be officially be recognised as one.
In his press conference, PM Lee stated that he called Pritam Singh and told him that it is right the he should be formally designated as Lead of the Opposition with resources provided.
Currently, the Worker’s Party will have 10 elected MPs in Parliament after their victorious win in Aljunied, Hougang and Sengkang.
