POLICE: HENG SWEE KEAT’S COMMENT IS CONSIDERED NOT AN OFFENCE

In a statement by the Singapore Police Force on July 7 stated that the reports which were lodged against Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat did not disclose any offence.

A police report was made against Heng’s comments which stated that the population was happy to have an individual from a minority race as Singapore’s Prime Minister, but the older generation was not ready.

The Singapore Police Force stated that there is no offence disclosed after consulting the Attorney-General’s Chambers.
