The girl’s father then allegedly approached the elderly man, grabbed his arm and pushed him aside. The elderly man fell to the ground during the encounter.

The footage prompted concern online, with the elderly man’s family saying he experienced significant back pain following the incident.

The family subsequently shared the footage while appealing for information about the man involved.

Police identify man as investigations continue

SPF confirmed that a police report had been lodged concerning the incident.

The police said the man had been identified in relation to an incident involving an elderly man at about 4.40pm on 15 Aug.
