POLICE LOOKING FOR HIT AND RUN DRIVER. TRAFFIC POLICE INJURED!

Police are looking for the hit-and-run driver who injured an on-duty Traffic Police officer.

On 17 November 2017 at about 9.20pm, the 26-year-old Traffic Police officer had stopped the car along Bedok Reservoir Road, while conducting enforcement checks. When the officer approached the car, the driver suddenly accelerated the car towards him.

The Traffic Police officer suffered multiple injuries and has been conveyed to hospital for treatment.

The Police have located the car, which was found abandoned at Cedar Avenue. We have established the driver of the car to be Lee Cheng Yan, a 34-year-old Chinese man. The Police are looking for him to aid in police investigation.
