POLICE RAID KTV AT UBI, KALLANG, OUTRAM, GEYLANG & NORTH BRIDGE RD

According to the Police media release, a raid was conducted in multiple places in Singapore.

The raid implicated 84 people, 76 massage parlours and 78 entertainment places.The Police said that they raided places in Geylang Lorong 13, North Bridge Road, Outram Road, Kallang Avenue and Ubi Road 1.

At least 50 people broke COVID-19 rules and four men were found operating illegal entertainment establisments.

15 Massages parlours were checked by the Police as well and many were found not wearing a mask.

For non-compliance with safe management measures under the COVID-19 offenders may be jailed for up to six months, fined up to S$10,000, or both.

If they are caught by the Police for not wearing a mask or not wearing a mask properly he can be charged under the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations 2020.

Penalties include a fine of up to SGD$10,000 and jailed for up to six months.
