Police raided the gambling den between lorong 14 and lorong 16 last night. The police cover both ends of the lorong and flank in to prevent the gamblers and the “bookmakers” from escaping.

The raid happened around 7.30pm when several police sweep in and surronded the area. The gamblers in the area had no choice but to surrender to the police. There were some who attempted to climb over the railing to escape, but was caught by the police officers.
The Police deployed several police vehicals for this operation.
It is understood that the operation was completed by the Singapore police force, Health Sciences Authority, customs and the immigration and checkpoints authority and other departments.
