A police report was made against influencer Xiaxue for a tweet she posted in 2010 that targeted migrant workers.

The tweet stated ” Coz they molest people and f*** our maids and leer at girls and flood little India!! Yeah I’m stereotyping, but f*** u if u say its not true.”
The police report which went viral online led to “Punish Xiaxue” to become the number one trend on Twitter in Singapore. An online petition named ‘Punish XiaXue for seditious content’ was also created which resulted in 13,000 signatures.
