POLICE’S ANTI-VICE OPS MADE 86 ARRESTS, 83 WOMEN & 3 MEN CAUGHT

A total of 86 arrests were made in the Police’s islandwide anti-vice operations that concluded recently on 31 October 2021 after it began about two months ago from the end date.

83 women and 3 men aged between 22 and 54 were rounded up for their suspected involvement in these activities.

Police officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), joint together with seven of the Police’s land divisions, raided many locations islandwide which included condominiums, hotels and residential units in many estates.

These estates are Ang Mo Kio, Balestier, Bukit Batok, Geylang, Guillemard, Kreta Ayer, Selegie, Orchard, Outram, Queenstown, Toa Payoh and Upper Serangoon.

Investigations are still ongoing and the Police have said that they will continue to work hand in hand with the public on information received regarding these vice activities and stern enforcement action will be taken against people who violate the laws in place.
