A white Porsche SUV was found flipped over and lying on its side in the middle of the road along Bugis in the early hours of 9 February.
The driver was also purportedly missing and nowhere to be found, and videos of the flipped car made its rounds on social media.
The white-coloured luxury car, a Porsche Macan, was spotted by some passers-by who took videos of the flipped vehicle, believed to have crashed in an accident.
The car appeared to still be in good condition despite its sideways position and blinking hazard lights, but it was evident that there had been a vehicular crash based on the wreckage around the vehicle.
However, another video posted on SG Road Vigilante showed the Porsche’s front had been damaged, with the Facebook post claiming that the car had hit a temporary traffic light and concrete barrier before crashing and overturning.
The driver then abandoned the vehicle after the accident and was nowhere to be seen.
The Singapore Police Force confirmed that they were alerted to the accident on 9 February at about 3.35am, at a road junction between Beach Road and Ophir Road.
They said that a 40-year-old man is assisting with police investigations, although they stopped short of mentioning if the man was the owner of the car.
No injuries were reported from the accident.
