A power fault late last night disrupted train services late last night on the NS Line with many hapless commuters taking to Twitter and FB to blast SMRT for not deploying staff to direct many who were stranded at the affected stations.
Last night’s fault was at least the second in one single day following a late morning track circuit fault on the EW Line.
Here what one of the passenger have to say:
I was travelling from Joo Koon to Buona Vista yesterday morning when a station announcement said to expect a delay of about 10 minutes. What was normally a 30-minute ride took 70 minutes eventually.
Which means that either SMRT was wrong or my Math teacher was a fking liar because to me 70 minutes – 30 minutes is 40 minutes.
