PRC DRIVER CAUSED FATAL ACCIDENT, KENA WHACK BY PUBLIC UNTIL HE BEGGED FOR MERCY

A 53-year-old Chinese national who allegedly caused a fatal accident on KM13 of the Jalan Klang-Banting-Port Dickson road, was beaten up by Malaysians until he had to beg for mercy.

He had allegedly caused the death of a delivery rider, who got run over by a lorry because of the man’s reckless driving.

District police chief of Kuala Langat, Supt Ahmad Ridhwan Mohd Nor @ Saleh, said in a statement that the accident occurred on 31 December at about 4.30pm, involving a number of vehicles.

The Chinese national was driving a Toyota Hilux and heading from Klang to Banting, when he made an illegal turn at a traffic light junction.

A 51-year-old retiree was was driving a Daihatsu Charade behind the China man, had to swerve to the left lane because he didn’t see an incoming SYM 110 motorbike from the same direction.

THe motorcycle then hit the front of the retiree’s car, resulting in the motorcyclist being thrown under a Volvo FM12 lorry on the left lane.

The motorcyclist, who worked as a delivery rider, succumbed to his injuries and died.

The China man was then purportedly dragged out of his vehicle and beaten up by the Malaysian crown until he started bleeding on his face.

He was seen in photos kneeling down and begging them for mercy, as one of the public members took a photo of his passport beside him, according to China Press.

The Malaysian police added that the China man is being investigated for driving without a valid driver’s license, as well as causing death by reckless or dangerous driving.

He also didn’t file a police report against the public members who assaulted him.
