Yang Qiang,41 a PRC national tried the easy way out and the illegal way to pass his driving test with $200. What he did not expect is that Singapore is a strict country and Singapore govt does not take lightly of corrupt practice.

Yang Qiang to give the tester $200 dollars to pass his driving test and the incident eventually reached the ‘ears’ of the authorities.

He was sentenced to 3 weeks jailed. Under Singapore’s law, corruption can go up to 5 years jail with a hefty fine of up to $100,000.
