Song Bowen, 27, a China national who is also a Singaporean PR, was arrested after trying to sell unregistered contraceptive pills to an undercover police officer. A raid on his flat discovered close to 50,000 condoms which were unregistered.

Song is currently working in an engineering company and he also is studying part-time at the Singapore of Social Sciences.
For his actions, Song was fined $32,500 on 13 contraventions of the Health Products Act. The seized condoms and pills were ordered to be disposed off by the HSA.
